Instant Purchase
The Instant Purchase option allows U.S. buyers
to pay immediately at the end of an auction using eBay Online
Payments by Billpoint.
Buyers! Discover a

winning auctions AND get your items fast. Simply click on the "Pay Now"
button on the View Item page and pay for your item with a credit card
or electronic check. That's it! Enjoy 100% credit card purchase protection.

Sellers! Discover a
faster and easier way to
receive payments on eBay! Simply select the Billpoint
Instant Purchase option in the Sell Your Item page or Mr. Lister
and specify any additional shipping, handling (including fees such as insurance), sales tax,
and return policy information. Instant Purchase works with Buy It
Now, single, and dutch auctions. After the auction closes, your buyer can
click on a "Pay Now" button on the View Item page and pay the final total
using eBay Online Payments. Register Now!

To use Instant Purchase, specify the following optional
information:
| Shipping, Handling |
The base shipping and handling cost to be added to the payment total
(This may also include other applicable fees, such as insurance.) Please be sure to specify in your
Description the method(s) you will use to ship the item to the
buyer. |
| Additional Shipping |
For dutch auctions, the incremental shipping,
handling, and insurance cost for each additional item. |
| Sales Tax |
The sales tax percentage to be applied. The sales tax
will only be applied for buyers who have a shipping address in the
state you specify. Please note: This calculation is a service
only and in no way obligates eBay, Billpoint or any of its
subsidiaries to remit such tax on your behalf. You are solely
responsible for the calculation and remittance of any taxes owed to
any governmental entity based on your eBay activities. |
| Return Policy |
The return policy for this item. The return policy
can make the purchase terms clear to your buyers and can help to
prevent disputes. |

to your item description, as this information will not otherwise
appear in your auction listing. |
Some additional notes:
- Instant Purchase may not be applicable for certain types of
auctions (cases where shipping and handling are not
known in advance, sales tax rules for your item / locality are more
complex than the calculation provided, etc.). However, you can
still accept payments using eBay Online Payments by Billpoint. At
the end of the auction, you will come back to the View Item page to
create a Billpoint Invoice specifying final charges to your buyer. Your
buyer will be notified by e-mail after you have created the Invoice and
can then purchase from the View Item page.
- Instant Purchase is currently available to U.S. buyers
only. However, if a non-U.S. buyer wins an auction with
Instant Purchase, you can still accept payment from that buyer by
creating a Billpoint Invoice after the auction ends.
- If at the end of an auction you find that the Instant Purchase terms
that you specified are no longer appropriate, you can still send
a Billpoint Invoice to override the terms that you specified.
