Easily add Honesty.com counters to your eBay listings
eBay sellers have depended on counters from Honesty.com for years. Counters keep track of the number of times bidders view your listing.

What is an Honesty.com counter and how do I add one?
By using Honesty.com counters, you can keep an eye on how many times your item has been viewed from one page for free! Simply add an Honesty.com counter to your listing through the Sell Your Item form. Select from two Honesty.com counters or a "hidden" counter. If you choose the hidden option, your counter will only be visible to you, the seller.

Your counter will appear at the bottom of your listing. It will look something like this:

Can I manage multiple counters in one place?
Yes. You can easily keep an eye on how many times your item has been viewed on our new "Manage Counters" page. You will find links to this page from the Site Map, Buying and Selling Tools and from My eBay. From the "Manage Counters" page you can also easily change your counter style.

You'll also want to take advantage of the valuable counter statistics on this page. Using these statistics, you can easily see which of your eBay items draw attention at a particular time of the day. If your item doesn't sell and you choose to relist it, the data from the Honesty.com counter may help you target the perfect ending time for your new listing.

If you are already using another counter service elsewhere and would like to continue that service for your eBay listings, you can. Honesty.com counters are not required for your listing. If you are a third party software developer, we do not expect our counters to disrupt your software. However, you should check that your program works when we launch this new service.

Can I change what my counter looks like?
Yes. eBay and Honesty.com have created a "Manage Counters" page that you can visit once you complete the Sell Your Item form. On this page you can view listings and edit your counters. You can change the counter style, apply a border, and make a counter visible or hidden. You can find links to the “Manage Counters” page from the Site Map, Buying and Selling Tools and from My eBay.

You may also add or delete a counter at any time during the auction. If your item has not received bids, you can easily add or delete a counter using the "revise your item" link located on the item page. If your item already has bids, you can add or remove a counter using the "add to your description" link located under "Buyer and Seller Services".
